Steve and Josie Knowles manage Beechwood Grange Stud which is situated in North Yorkshire. Offering good stallions to enhance the breeding programmes of mares from all over the Country, which have producied endless winners over the years.
Beechwood Grange offer excellent facilities and grazing, giving young stock an excellent start to their career. An all Inclusive Veterinary Scheme by Equine Reproductive Services, Malton, is in place, for the benefit of owners.
Beechwood have a dedicated team of staff who have worked at the stud for over 25 years.
Offering a first class service for Boarders, foaling down, maiden or difficult mares, Beechwood can offer individual care and have over 40 years experience in the industry.

Current stallions are:

A son of leading sire ALHAARTH out of the Classic winning mare AL BAHATHRI, HAAFHD will be standing at a fee of £3,000 (1st October SLF).
HAAFHD won the Washington Singer Stakes at Newbury at two years old in record time before winning the 2,000 Guineas (G1) and Champion Stakes (G1) at 3. He retired to stud in 2005. Haafhd had 40 individual winners of 79 races in 2014 with a career winners/ runners strike rate of 59% with his flat runners and of 37% with his National Hunt representatives.  He sired his first Gr.1 winner, JUNOOB, in 2014 who won the Metropolitan (Gr.1) at Randwick, Australia.

Classic is one of the leading sires in the UK of showing stock, both, in-hand and under saddle. He is very much in demand as he has many winners at the Horse of the Year Show and numerous winners at County level.
